i was wrong about something, and it was this; mediainfo mac can indeed read information from xiph/vorbis files, but it does not show up in the "Open With" list on the contextual menu when ctrl/"right"-clicking on a xiph/vorbis files. the user must access the xiph/vorbis file from the "Open File..." dialog in mediainfo mac. it would certainly be a time saver if this application did show up in the "Open With" list though... you have noticed this and are apparently going to fix this. so a hefty kudos!

this is a fantastic utility for os x. i have been using it for a while now but have one question, and it is this:

will support for reading information from any xiph/vorbis format files (flac, ogg etc...) ever be added?

thanks in advance for any response,
ari

p.s. i ask because the mediainfo library this project revolves around does indeed support these formats.
