Updated HE-AAC (aacPlus) reference encoder for Mac OS X

This is an updated build of the 3GPP group AAC Plus (or HE-AAC) reference audio encoder for Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard” or newer.

  1. You should also check out XLD at http://tmkk.undo.jp/xld/index_e.html. This is a GREAT HE-AAC audio encoder. I’ve got it encoding 20 songs at the same time. It is amazing.

    For video encoding, I use the lastest version of Handbrake and another app called HandBrakeBatch. BAD NEWS: HBB is very crashy. When I attempt to load it with >10 videos it crashes. I relaunch it, and can add another 40 or so videos before it crashes again. GOOD NEWS: Once all of the video files are loaded it works GREAT.

    With HBB, you have to set up the Presets within HandBrake first. Well feel free to email me if you want to talk more about it. Later.
